What I like the most about 'Amber Queen' rose, is the pure amber golden yellow color.
And its ability to produce lots of clusters of very large and beautifully formed blooms in such an abundance throughout the summer and fall.
Rose 'Amber Queen' also has a compact and neat growth habit, is very disease free, and has a very sweet rose fragrance.

Another very appealing quality about this rose cultivar is the refreshing effect of the bright clean blooms agains the dark leathery foilage.
I like it growing it as a bedding rose the best, because of it's cushiony growth habit.
It's peachy-apricot colored flowers look outstanding with blue perennial flowers.
The foilage is dark and leathery, and it really shows off these bright colored amber blooms in a wonderful way.
It has won Britains 'Rose of The Year' competion and many more awards. 'Amber Queen' is really a great rose that I recommend highly. Zones 4-9, height 3-4 feet.
