QUESTION: I have received two Eden (Pink) climber Rose Bushes and they are bare root.
I live in Oklahoma and it is Dec. 6th.
What do I do.
I have kept them in the dark bag they came in in a cool place.
I love these roses but, the time of year is not the ideal to plant these.

ANSWER Hi Lynn! You need to put the roses in cold storage until spring planting time.
Maybe a cold garage. Wrap the roses in burlap, or other protective items. An old blanket would be fine.
Make sure that the roots don't dry out.
Next time don't accept delivery of roses in the winter.
Request a spring planting time, when all danger of frost is over.
