Carefree Delight Rose
An Easy To Grow Shrub RoseThe Carefree Delight rose is a great modern shrub rose that you never have to fuss over. It was introduced by hybridizer Meilland of France in 1994. It won top honors and many awards right from the start. I sorry the picture below didn't turn out right, I guess the light was not correct. I will upgrade the picture of this rose as soon as possible. But this is a truly wonderful and easy rose to grow in any garden. In fact all the roses on my site are here because I know that they will not disappoint you , my wonderful visitors, who depend on me to lead you to roses that are really worth growing and wont give you a headache after planting it.
'Carefree Delight' rose, a modern shrub rose
The plant has adorable pink flowers that literally covers the bush from late spring to late fall. The petals are of a single form and are carried in clusters, so they put on quite a show. A tough landscape rose that's disease resistant and very cold hardy. It even tolerates drought more than other roses, after it has been established, about 3 years. The growth habit is quite compact, however it tends to spread a bit, so give it plenty of room. The blooms have a mild rose fragrance. Zones 4-9, height 3 feet.
