Climbing Rose
QUESTION: Hi, I have a trellis in the back of my yard, on the side of my reddish brick patio.
I think yellow roses would look best. What climbing rose blooms the most and longest?
Also could I mix another color with the yellow? Any suggestions?
Thanks so much,
Karen
ANSWER: Hi Karen! you didn't say where you garden, what zone you are in.
But if you are in Zone 6 or warmer, I recommend the yellow climber Golden Showers.
A prolific bloomer that last all season long.
Most climbing roses are cold tender.
You could plant lavender or blue clematis vines with it. It would look stunning.
