About The Eden Rose
by: Annelie

Hi Tracey!
You might want to check with your local garden nursery that sells roses, if the Eden Climbing rose would survive the cold winters where you live.
Also the Eden rose buds don't open in cold and wet weather.
But your summers are warm in you area right?
Since you really love to have this rose, you could always plant it and find out how it does.

I did have Willam Baffin and it was fantastic. I did nothing to it and it bloomed all season and had no problems. so pretty too. However, as you mentioned, it had no scent and didt have the old rose look i like. I may plant it over a trellis im building, so thanks for reminding me!

Are you double sure about Eden? I cant get it out of my head. I need to go in the spring to look at America, make sure it is as large as Eden. WE live about 45 minnutes north of NYC, so not too far up. I think we are zone 6.

As always, thanks! Cant wait for spring. We have a special needs child and rose gardening really relaxes me and I get such joy from it.
