Evergreen Plants For A Rose Garden

Evergreen Garden Plants - Flowering Shrubs - Boxwoods

Looking for evergreen plants, flowers and shrubs that bloom and

grow year round? Evergreens provide the back bone of a garden.

I especially like evergreen hedge plants such as the many varieties of evergreen boxwoods. The most popular are the small hardy boxwoods such as "green gem", green velvet and the Korean wintergreen boxwood.

These evergreen boxwoods are great for dwarf hedges around rose garden beds. I love the way they look with roses!

Most rhododendrons are green year round. They make great evergreen foundation plants for the front of the house. Their foilage is nice even when they aren't blooming.
