This is a very well kept and attractive flower bed. It's planted with the hybrid tea Tropicana rose, yellow Day Lilies and pink Verbenas. A garden statue provides a pretty focal point.

One of the prettiest perennial flower beds I have seen in a long time. It's main feature is the fabulous red Monarda, a great perennial, white Zinnias and blue Russian Sage with pink Day Lilies. A dwarf birch tree serves as a focal point.

Here is a picture of my husband Tony posing with the red Simplicity roses in the front garden. Simplicity roses make great foundation plantings.

If you are looking for a curved flower bed design, this is a very good design for a curved flower bed. The focal point in the bend of the curved bed is a red Double Knockout rose with Blue Nile Lilies next to it. The ground cover in front, is a gray leaved perennial Gazania, an African Daisy. It's a very simple flower bed, yet so attractive and with low maintenance.

In the picture above there are pink Nearly Wild roses, very compact low growing roses, lining the walkway. That's the pink ones. The larger white roses in the back in front of the house are Iceberg roses. White roses are so easy to mix with other roses, or other flower colors.

Isn't this enchanting! One of the most beautiful ideas for a white and blue flower bed. I am very fond of white and blue flower combinations, because it's gives a sort of cool feeling to a garden in the warm summers. The white Iceberg roses are under planted with blue and white Lobelias, a self seeding annual. How easy is this! If you need a low cost flower bed idea, this is a great one.

When you plant a tree in a grass lawn, don't just plant it and let the grass grow up to the trunk of the tree.In fact trees likes it better, when the grass doesn't compete for the water and nutrients. Here is a small tree that have a flower bed circle around it. Those are miniature roses growing under the tree. Now doesn't that look great!

I just love this curb side planting in a front garden. Here a fabulous pink Simplicity rose is a stunning focal point, standing in all its glory, like a beautiful statue. Flower bed ideas don't get any better than this.
