Hardy Geranium Plants

hardy geranium

Perennial Geranium Varieties

Hardy geranium, the perennial types of geraniums, sometimes calles zonal geraniums, are very easy to care for, and are generally pest free.

The geraniums that are hardy are wonderful plant companions for rose bushes, especially the blue or purple geranium varieties, as they look fabulous with pink or white roses.

Perennial geraniums are also perfect for underplanting hybrid tea roses. They always have bare lower canes that aren't very pretty, and need hiding.

Geranium plants should be part of your flower garden with roses for sure.

Here is a selection of my favorite and very best varieties of geraniums that are hardy. Just CLICK on the headlines under each picture, for information.
