Honey Perfume Rose

A Fragrant Floribunda Rose Bush

The Honey Perfume rose bush, a very fragrant rose, is an award winning floribunda rose for 2004. It recieved AARS honors and a Gold Medal in Barcelona, Spain.

It is an absolutely beautiful rose with incredibly rich apricot-yellow flowers that turns creamy as they age.

The fragrance is a strong spicy scent, that is so intoxicating, it will scent a whole room if you fill a vase with a couple of flower clusters. This rose repeat blooms all season long, so be sure to plant one of these fragrant roses, in your rose garden.

The bush has an upright habit, not usual for a floribunda, with dark green foilage and glossy leaves.

As you would expect, with all these awards, it's a proven performer with great disease resistance to powdery mildew, rust and black spot.

Floribunda roses tend to look great in perennial borders where their repeat blooming flowers put on a show all summer, long after other plants have stopped blooming. And this rose is no exception.

It would be a great anchor plant in a mixed border and I would even plant it in a container on a patio where it's easy to enjoy the fragrance and the beauty of the blossoms.

This rose is a compact plant that can fit many garden situations.

Zones 5-9, height 3 feet and 2 feet wide.
