I need ideas for a front of the house raised rose garden.

WE want to build a raised small rose garden to go between two sets of steps going into our front porch..about an 8` by 8` space..we live in South Carolina so roses should do well here..what kind of other plants should we add????

So nice of you to visit my rose gardening site!
One of my favorite plants to plant around roses are perennial hardy geraniums..
Annual Cosmos is also a great companion plant for roses, as are perennial lilies and perennial daisy types.
Plant the perennial geraniums in front of your roses and other taller plants in your raised flower bed.
