QUESTION: Hello!
I would like to buy a Penelope rose
for a friend whose daughter
is named Penelope rose.

Where can I purchase this rose?

Is it hardy for Wisconsin's winters?

ANSWER: Hi KC!
The lovely Penelope Musk rose is only winter hardy to Zone 7, and would not survive the cold winters in Wisconsin. Sorry!

However, it would do well in Florida, and often turns into a small climber in hotter climates.

Maybe you could plant it in your garden, and your friend would enjoy the fragrant blooms when visiting you in Florida.
