Has been Broken

QUESTION: Hi, I really need your help. My rose main stem thats close to the roots has been broken.
But theres still small stem that's still attached.
Now the leaves are now slowly beginning to turn light yellow. What should I do?
ANSWER: Hi Joanna! There is nothing to do.
When it's pruning time in your area, just prune the other stems down to 4-6 inches.
Your rose will grow new stems after the prunning.
Modern day roses only flower on new growth anyway.
I noticed that your rose is in a bucket.
Make sure the bucket has drainage holes underneath.
Roses die when there is poor drainage. No drainage is the best way to kill a rose.
