Peace Hybrid Tea Rose

The Peace rose a beautiful hybrid tea rose, is the best selling rose of all times.

'Peace' was originally bred in 1935 by a french hybridizer, Frances Meilland.

At the close of WW2 on April 29, 1945, the date of the fall of Berlin to the Allied Forces, an American, by the name of Conard Pyle, formally introduced the rose as 'Peace', to commemorate the end of the war.

Since then the 'Peace' rose has been awarded almost every medal and prize in the world of roses.

The 'Peace' rose

This elegant rose has long stemmed buds that slowly opens to an abundance of rose petals that are a lovely blend of ivory, pale gold and soft pink colors.

It's a flower that takes your breath away!

The blooms are drenched in sweet antique rose perfume, a throwback to its antique rose ancestors.

If you do not prune it too severely, it will grow to about 7 feet. A handsome tall shrub with great dark green, disease free foilage, and beautiful flowers that bloom all season long.

Zone 4-9, height to 7 feet.
