as 'Peace', to commemorate the end of the war.
Since then the 'Peace' rose has been awarded almost every medal and prize in
the world of roses.
It's blooms are enormous, and are very beautiful at every stage.

In Europe this rose is called Mme. A. Meilland.
Named so for the raiser's mother, who died young.
