My roses are have a white powdery mildew on them. What is the best way to avoid this and how to I control it.
I like to get rid of it.
Hi Barbara,
The best way to prevent a lot of mildew is to keep your roses deep watered frequently.
Roses who are allowed to dry out and go without watering, are attacked by mildew 3 times as much as well watered roses.
So the answer to your question about roses mildew control would be to spray with Ortho Rose Pride Rose & Shrub Disease Control.
Rake and destroy infected leaves and in the fall.
Best Regards,
Annelie
