Rose Mister Lincoln

QUESTION: I just want to ask if the Mister Lincoln rose has a white stripe (if you can call it that)

My rose has one, and today I saw another one from another garden and it was the same.

It caused quite a discussion and we were told that this is not Mister Lincoln but the tags say they are.

Can you please help with this.

ANSWER: Hi Pauline! It's possible your rose has been miss-labeled.

The Mister Lincoln rose has deep velvet red color, with no white stripes.

You might go back to the place where you bought the Mr Lincoln rose and tell them about the white stripe on the rose blooms.
