The Pilgrim Rose is from David Austin and is also classified as an English Rose with beautiful yellow rose blooms.
Rose Pilgrim is a modern shrub rose, with lovely medium yellow, repeat-flowering blooms.
The rose flowers arrive in clusters on strong stems, and have a pleasing fragrance.
They continue to appear through summer and fall, in fact this English rose is great flower producer.
I think it's an excellent rose to plant in a flower border, either as a specimen plant or, as I prefer, in a group of three.
Plant some blue or purple perennials next to this yellow rose and you'll have a great flower border that you will be proud of.
The Pilgrim grows vigorously with a compact and graceful habit to an average height.

The yellow color varies according to the climate you live in.
It can fade quickly in very hot sun, but in cooler conditions the whole flower is a good strong yellow at first.
Then it fades from the edges inward, passing to lemon and cream, but always with a beautiful contrast between the paler outer petals and the bright yellow inner ones.
The Pilgrim roses are great in arrangments and compine well with other plants in a garden.
Deadheading spent flowers help it to rebloom throughout the season into late fall.
