QUESTION: I will be moving part way through the winter, and would like to take my roses (along with my other perennials) with me.
I would like to pot them for the winter and then transplant them in the spring.
Is there a best way to do this?
Thanks
ANSWER: Hi! If you live in a cold climate Zone, you need to move the pots to a cool room during the winter, otherwise they will die from winterkill.
Here is my page about the best way to transplant roses.
Follow those instructions. Also, only use bagged soil for your pots. Keep them watered during the winter.
