Will it hurt my Knockout rose to cut roses to bring inside? If it's ok to do this, what is the best way to cut?

It wont hurt the Knockout rose to take occasional cuttings. I do it myself sometimes.

However, constantly cutting flowers from any rose bush, will reduce flower production.
The rose loses energy, especially if foilage is cut off also.

But an occasional cutting for a vase is ok. I have lots of knockout rose bushes, so I can get a good size rose bouquet by taking one cutting from several rose bushes.

This method, of cutting a few flowers from several bushes, is better than getting the entire bouquet from just one bush.
