Hybrid Tea Rose Veterans HonorVeterans Honor rose is a beautiful red hybrid tea rose that's a fitting tribute to our men and women in uniform who are serving our nation. The plump dark red buds of 'Veterans Honor' rose open into gorgeous high centered blooms that are bright red to start with, but turning to tones of pink as they age. The rose flowers have a fruity raspberry rose fragrance and they are known to last for two weeks in a flower vase.

The foilage is dark green and very disease resistant. All hybrid tea roses need to be underplanted with short perennials, bulbs or annuals to hide their bare lower canes. They are not very pretty to look at. I would like the 'Veterans Honor' to be underplanted with low growing white hardy geraniums. And if you would really like to create a beautiful planting composition, plant some white tall delphiniums in betwen these red hybrid tea roses. It will look fabulous!
