QUESTION: I planted a Blaze Rose Climber in April 09 in an open area of my flower bed.
I have just realized from reading that I should NOT be pruning it as I have in the past.
Therefore, it needs to be transplanted to a more appropriate area. When is it safe to do so?
ANSWER: Hi Velma! You can transplant the Blaze rose as soon as all danger of frost is gone.
Here is a link to my page about transplanting roses.
Just scroll down to transplanting climbing roses. But read all instructions, especially about root pruning before transplanting a rose.
